My research project is focused on investigating the molecular signaling mechanisms downstream of N-cadherin in endothelial cells. Using N-cadherin biomimetic surfaces along with an endothelial cell specific, tamoxifen inducible knockout mouse, I am looking at how N-cadherin contributes to endothelial barrier function both in vitro and in vivo.
